The Problem
Executives don't have time to skim multiple feeds before their first meeting, but staying informed is a requirement.
The gap between the time it takes to identify and absorb industry headlines, and staying informed is where this lives.
How did I settle on this solution?
I tried the alternatives first. Aggregators produce link soup — coverage without ranking. Digest newsletters carry someone else's editorial POV, tuned to a general audience. Neither reads like an executive brief.
So I built an n8n workflow that pulls leading sources, and hands the pool to ChatGPT.
From there everything is ranked by relevance, and each top story is summarized into two or three executive-readable lines. Delivered by email at 8:45 AM PST, weekdays only, so it lands in the inbox before the workday begins.
